God Bless Our Home motto
This GBOH (God Bless Our Home) is the most familiar style and saying of all the American GBOH motto designs of the 1870's - 1880's. This is the house blessing design that was most frequently stitched. The motto is charted to be stitched on perforated paper, as the original piece was, or on fabric. Antique White, Dirty Brown, or Vintage Country Cream from Zweigart are the best fabric colors for this design.
All of our mottoes are charted for stitching on perforated paper with traditional textured stitches, just as the Victorians stitched them, and for completing the design using Cross stitch only which can be worked on fabric and also paper.
We sell the threads for all of our motto designs even if they are not listed on this website. If you cannot find the threads locally please contact Dutch Treat directly.
