May Angels Guard is a multicolored Bristol spot sampler. The design includes many familiar motifs that are seen in other Bristol spot samplers.

One of the most touching things about this chart is the words at the bottom which red: May Angels Guard the One I Love. You wonder if the girl who stitched this was thinking of her family, especially of her deceased parents. We don't know who the stitcher was but her sampler remains.
